Buddenbrooks Film screening | The first film adaptation of Thomas Mann’s 1901 classic novel about the decline of a bourgeois Lübeck merchant family

26th June @ 6:00 pm - 7:50 pm

Free
Join us for a screening of the restored classic film adaptation of Thomas Mann’s family saga “The Buddenbrooks”, released in 1929 – the same year the author received the Nobel Prize for literature for this work. “The Buddenbrooks” tells the story of a wealthy north German merchant family over four generations, while simultaneously creating a portrait of German history and society.
