CINEMARC AT GSF: WHALE RIDER ON WORLD OCEAN DAY

For the third year, the ARC and Glasgow Science Festival present a special CinemARC event for World Ocean Day, featuring three ocean-themed screenings. The third film is Whale Rider (2002), a powerful Māori coming-of-age story. Set in coastal New Zealand, it follows 12-year-old Pai as she challenges tradition to fulfil her destiny as leader of her tribe.
