Gaia (The Earth) by Luke Jerram, part of 50th Anniversary Celebrations of The CRM Society

To celebrate its 50th year, the CRM Society is holding a series of events at its home at Queen’s Cross. This former church was designed by Mackintosh and now operates as a successful venue for music and events. Measuring six metres in diameter, Gaia features 120dpi detailed NASA imagery of the Earth’s surface. The artwork provides the opportunity to see our planet, floating in three dimensions.
