Renowned vocal ensemble iuchair’s new concert programme pairs two masterpieces of French medieval and modern polyphony: Guillaume de Machaut’s Messe de Nostre Dame and Francis Poulenc’s Quatre petites prières de Saint François d’Assisse. Come hear Machaut’s chaotic counterpoint complemented by the luxuriant close harmony of Poulenc. A diverse programme of incredible music.

Pergolesi’s Stabat Mater is a transcendently beautiful and deeply personal musical meditation on suffering and redemption.
